Summer Camp 2021


 

After such a crazy year, we are getting SO excited about hanging out with your kiddos all summer and looking forward to all the fun we will have at camp!!

Our Summer Camp Program is for any rising Kindergarten student through Middle School. We are open Monday through Friday from 7:30am until 6pm. We offer a two-day (Tuesday and Thursday), three-day (Monday, Wednesday, and Friday), and five-day option. All field trip fees are included in your weekly tuition! While at Coastal Day School, campers will enjoy fun activities such as crazy water games, silly dry games, arts and crafts, and tons more!!! We love seeing sweet friendships form and getting to see campers enjoy all the activities our staff has spent months planning.

If you are interested in registering your child for our summer camp, please click on the link above for registration forms. You are free to pick any weeks you want as well as pick the number of days you'd like each week (two-day option is Tuesday and Thursday, three-day option is Monday, Wednesday, and Friday and we also have a five-day option-we only offer a daily option for select weeks as outlined in the tuition contract). We do not have a minimum on the number of weeks your child attends and you only pay for the weeks you register for!! Please keep in mind that once you have turned in a registration form, we cannot make changes to the dates you've registered for, and you will be required to pay for the dates reserved, regardless of attendance. We provide a quality program with a low student/teacher ratio, and awesome field trips that usually require prepayment, so when we hold a space for a child, it is important that we receive payment for that space in order to continue providing all the fun activities we do daily. We feel badly when plans change and parents are still expected to pay for the weeks they have reserved, but please understand that we cannot make any exceptions to this policy in order to be able to keep our camp open and functioning. If multiple parents were to ask each week to make changes to what they have reserved, it would severely affect our ability to continue to operate as it is very difficult to fill spaces last minute when parents have already made other plans for their children once our program is full. Thank you in advance for your understanding and support in this area. We know that it can be a struggle when funds are tight so please make sure to only reserve weeks you know you will need. 
 
We really hope your child(ren) will be joining us for a fun-filled summer here at CDS! We are excited to see our returning campers and meet new families and provide them with a safe and exciting summer camp. I know how scary it can be sending your child off to camp, especially on field trips, but our staff takes our campers' safety very seriously and we work diligently to ensure your child is well taken care of. Our staff has been trained to obsessively count campers (I mean really OBSESSIVELY-we count in our sleep during the summer-true story 😆) and monitor their group very closely. We are so grateful for such an amazing staff that truly loves our campers!

Open Enrollment Begins Today!

Good Morning!! 

We are so excited to open enrollment today for new families to join our preschool and kindergarten program which starts September 7, 2021. To submit a request for enrollment, please click here

If you are still reading...stop and fill out the form via the link before continuing!! Submissions are time stamped and spaces will be filled in the order received. 

As a reminder, by completing this form, you are not guaranteed a space. This is simply a request to enroll.

We will begin calling families as soon as possible to notify you of your enrollment status. If your child receives a space, instructions will be emailed to you for how to proceed with the process and confirm your child's space. Deadlines for paperwork and the new student fee will be outlined in the email as well. If you miss a deadline, your space will be given to the next child on the list. No exceptions will be made. Emails have ended up in spam folders in the past so make sure to check there also. 

If your child does not receive a space, they will automatically be placed on our waiting list. Don't give up hope if you are added to the waiting list! We have seen it move dramatically in the past due to changing family situations, moves, etc. It's still possible to receive a space before school starts or even after our school year has begun.  

We will be working hard to process all the enrollment requests we receive but it is a time consuming task and may take us a few days to complete. Our office staff answering calls will not be able to confirm if you received a space or not. Every person that submits our enrollment form will receive a call from us by Friday, March 19, 2021. If you have not received a call from us by then, please contact us.

2021-2022 Registration Information

We are so excited to meet new families tomorrow evening at our Open House! If you have not registered to attend, and would like to, you can sign up for a time slot via this [link]. This is a great opportunity to meet our staff, tour our facility, and ask any questions you may have. This is an adults only event and everyone in attendance must wear a mask, practice social distancing, and wash their hands and have their temperature taken upon entrance. 

We will be opening registration for new families on Monday, March 15, 2021 at 8am. We highly suggest you submit your information right at 8am. The link for the registration form will be posted right here on our blog! The form will simply ask for one parent's name, email address, and phone number (a picture example of the form is shown below). We will begin calling families as soon as we can. We know it’s hard, but please refrain from calling to find out where you are on the list. Without information from every family (children's ages/number of days if they have not filled out the registration information form ahead of time), we will not be able to determine where you are on the list. Filling out the form online does not guarantee a space in our program. All spaces are first come, first serve and we will go in the order the submissions came in. Any child that does not receive a space in our program will be placed on our waiting list. Our hope is to get in touch with everyone by March 18th, but it is a time consuming process, so please be patient with us as we tackle the list. Please make sure you double check the phone number you've entered on the form before submitting it. Things like an incorrect phone number or a full voicemail box could prevent you from receiving a space. If you miss the call from us, please return the call as soon as possible. We will have many names to get through and will need to move on to the next person quickly. If we do not hear back from you within 24 hours, we will need to move on to the next person on the list.

 If you receive a space, all deadlines will be listed in your confirmation email (check your spam folder as our emails go there often). If you miss a deadline, your space will be given to the next child on the list. No exceptions will be made for any reason.
